Many thanks to all who came to Liverpool and made the conference such a success. The next Prevention and Control of Zoonoses Conference will be in 2007. Meantime, please browse this site for speakers presentations.

The conference will address some of the variety of sources of zoonotic infection, both domestic and wild, in Europe and Worldwide

The Health Protection Agency, in partnership with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the Department of Health, the Food Standards Agency, the Welsh Assembly Government and the Northern Ireland Dept of Health, Social Services and Public Safety will be hosting a conference on zoonoses in Liverpool, North West Engalnd.

The aims of the conference will be to bring together leading national practitioners and policymakers in both human and veterinary medicine with their counterparts from Europe and other areas of the world.

The themes of this conference are:

  • Food borne zoonoses

  • New and emerging
    zoonoses

  • Globalisation and zoonoses
